The owner started his elevator career at FS Payne in 1982 as a junior engineeer, learning elevator logic, designing elevator controllers using relays and contactors.  When Cemco asked FS Payne to begin to use computers instead of relays for their hydraulic elevator package, I was the engineer that sec'd the Omron Sysmac C20 as the PLC to use for Cemco.  Little did I suspect that this was the beginning of my specialty for my entire career.  In 1885, I tranlsated the relay logic into PLC programming, set up the product line for FS Payne, and later continued this at TEC which was essentially the exact same engineering team that we were at FS Payne. By  2001 I became the Chief Engineer for tEC and continued in that role until 2014, when TEC's owner passed away and I opened up my own company, TECC and continued to support all of the elevator controllers we built at FS PAyne and TEC.
